Back-to-back defeats have seen Slutsk relinquish top spot in the Belarusian Premier League and they are unlikely to have things all their own way against a defensively-sound Ruhr Brest.
The visitors, who are three points behind Slutsk, have kept clean sheets in five of their nine league games this season and only one of their contests has featured three or more goals.
Aleksandr Sednyov’s men are the division’s draw specialists having shared the spoils in four of their last six outings – three have ended 0-0 – and they will again be set up to frustrate their hosts.
Ruhr Brest were only edged out 1-0 at league leaders Bate Borisov earlier in the campaign, while they were also disciplined enough to hold second-placed Torpedo Belaz to a goalless draw.
Defence is very much the best form of attack for Ruhr Brest and their controlled approach should ensure another low-scoring contest against Slutsk, who have netted more than once in only one of their last four home league games.
