Shakhtar Soligorsk’s performances at home helped them secure third place and a Europa League berth in the Belarusian Premier League last season and they can assert their authority over Slavia Mozyr at the Stroitel Stadium on Saturday.
Although Soligorsk have made a modest start to the new campaign, they have lost only one of their previous seven league encounters, thumping Isloch 4-0 in their last home fixture. They also collected more home points (38) than any other club in the league last season, conceding only 11 goals in their 15 home matches.
They have kept clean sheets in six of their eight league assignments this term and should have enough in the final third to claim maximum points against Slavia, who lost to Isloch, Minsk and BATE Borisov last month.
