Seongnam got their 2020 season off to a flier last week with a solid 2-0 win at Gwangju, in a clash that saw attacker Yang Dong-Hyen help himself to an opening day double.
However, beating one of the division’s weakest outfits probably isn’t as impressive as it looks, and Seongnam will face a much tougher assignment against Incheon this weekend.
The Mariners started their campaign in largely uninspiring fashion with a 0-0 draw at home to Daegu, and another low scoring contest looks likely when they travel to play Seongnam on match day two.
Just two goals were scored in total in the last five meetings between Seongnam and Incheon, and having shared the spoils in three of those encounters, this well-matched pair look well priced to draw again in their latest tussle.
