The Danish Superliga kicks back into gear this week, and 3rd placed AGF Aarhus’ meeting with Championship Round hopefuls Randers is one of the most compelling contests in the first round of games after the division’s postponement.
Aarhus were beaten in just two of the ten games they contested at the Ceres Park & Arena before the campaign was temporarily halted in March, though it’s worth noting that both teams found the net six of the last seven of those tussles.
The hosts penchant for conceding on their own path is something that Randers, who scored at least once in six of their last seven away assignments, will feel they can exploit, though any goal they do score should be the only positive they can wrangle out of Thursdays’ game.
Randers were turned over in four of their last five away fixtures before the hiatus, conceding 13 times along the way, and while we expect both teams to score in Aarhus this week, we’re tipping De Hviie to eventually emerge as victors.
